TIMELINE:

Bylaws and non-profit 501 (c)(3) paperwork  written and submitted by Phillip Pine to the IRS. Six months to write the bylaws. Eighteen months from submission to approval from IRS. Once approved, Rep. Dick Muri agreed to be the House sponsor. Sen. John Braun had agreed to do so in the senate for the following session.
 

January 30, 2015: Representative Dick Muri (R, 28th District) referred HB 1830 to Transportation committee

February 12, 2015: State Senator John Braun (R, 20th District), introduced Senate Bill 5948 in support of a college wrestling license plate

February 26, 2015: Transportation Committee passed HB 1830, on a 25-0 vote, to the Legislature to be voted on this session. The Legislature voted 91-7 in favor of the bill.
 

The Senate Transportation committee chairman, Curtis King (R, 14th District) did not bring the bill up for a vote.
This process will start over in next year’s legislative session in January.
